🛠️ Quick Professions Guide (Crafting Leveling)
This guide is not a spreadsheet.
It’s meant to help you understand how to level professions without over‑complicating things and what to focus on first.
Professions covered (high‑level):
- Cooking
- Alchemy
- Blacksmith
- Tailor
- Carpenter
- Engineering
- Jewel Crafting
1. Before you start: EXP multipliers
You can level professions with no boosts, but it’s much slower.
If you can, try to stack:
- Cash shop / V Store buffs → packs with “Profession EXP +%”.
- Pelthera Statue → “Profession EXP Booster” bought with Silver.
- Altars in Dangerous Land (red zones) → extra profession EXP bonus.
Simple rule:
- If you plan to farm professions for 1–2 hours in a row, activate every boost you can at the same time.
2. Core concepts for profession leveling
Regardless of the profession:
- Pick 1 “star recipe” per level bracket.
- Look at:
- Materials that are easy to farm in bulk.
- Good XP per material and XP per second.
- Craft that star recipe in large batches.
- Use alternative recipes only when:
- You’re missing a key material.
- You want to burn through resources you already have stored.
It’s almost always better to spam 1–2 efficient recipes than to randomly try the entire recipe book.
3. Profession‑by‑profession summary (no giant tables)
3.1. Cooking
Role: food that gives stats, regen and buffs.
Basic path:
- Low levels (1–20):
- Find a very cheap recipe (simple soups/plates – sugar, basic soups, etc.).
- Prioritize easy ingredients: water, basic veggies, common meat.
- Mid levels (20–40):
- Swap to Tier 2 recipes with good XP/material (improved soups, meat dishes).
- High levels (40–60+):
- Use Tier 3 recipes with good XP per craft, even if they take longer.
Tip:
- Use this to fill your inventory with actually useful food while leveling the profession.
3.2. Alchemy
Role: potions and support consumables (HP, MP, farm buffs, etc.).
Basic path:
- Low levels:
- Pick a very simple recipe (dyes or basic potions with 1–2 materials).
- Next brackets:
- Move into higher‑tier HP/MP potions.
- Mid–high levels:
- Pick one elixir or potion that:
- Uses materials you can get in your usual farm areas.
- Has a reasonable craft time.
- Pick one elixir or potion that:
Tip:
- Always keep a stock of useful potions for your character and sell the extra on the market if there’s demand.
3.3. Blacksmith
Role: weapons, heavy armor and metal tools.
Basic path:
- Early:
- Cheap pieces (boots/gloves) or tools with few materials (axes, pickaxes).
- Mid:
- Switch to recipes that use two common materials (e.g. processed wood + common metal).
- High:
- Higher‑tier armor pieces or tools that still keep good XP per material.
Tips:
- Craft things you or your clan will actually use (pickaxes, weapons, etc.).
- The rest you can sell or scrap, depending on what the game allows.
3.4. Tailor
Role: light / cloth armor and some clothing.
Basic path:
- Early:
- Very cheap cloth pieces (boots, gloves) with 1 main material (e.g. Linen Cloth).
- Mid:
- Intermediate sets with 2 materials (cloth + leather).
- High:
- Advanced sets with good XP per craft, even if they take longer.
Tip:
- Great if you play light / caster classes: you level the profession while generating progression gear.
3.5. Carpenter
Role: furniture, decoration and some functional objects.
Basic path:
- Early:
- 1‑material items (e.g. simple flower pot using only stone or wood).
- Mid:
- Furniture using easy materials (processed wood, common stone, etc.).
- High:
- Decorative pieces with high XP per craft; look for recipes with 1 main material.
Tip:
- Great if you enjoy housing or selling decoration to other players.
3.6. Engineering
Role: turrets, traps, mechanisms.
Basic path:
- In many cases, a single turret/launcher recipe with few materials will be the most efficient option.
- Stick to recipes where:
- Materials are easy to get or buy.
- Crafting time isn’t insane for big batches.
Tip:
- Very useful if you like PvP or base defense; pairs well with other professions.
3.7. Jewel Crafting
Role: rings, necklaces, earrings and talismans.
Basic path:
- Early:
- One “star” piece with 3 basic materials (gem + metal + magic resource).
- Mid / High:
- Rotate between amulets, rings and talismans depending on which materials you have in abundance.
Tip:
- Excellent to create accessories with key stats (crit, AP, etc.) while leveling the profession.
4. Practical profession‑farming routine
- Pick one profession you want to level first (e.g. Cooking).
- Check which recipe in your level range:
- Uses materials that are easy for you to get.
- Gives decent XP.
- Buy/farm enough mats to do at least 50–100 crafts in a row.
- Activate all profession EXP boosts you can.
- Start mass crafting while doing something else (music, Discord, etc.).
- When that recipe stops giving good XP, look for the next star recipe and repeat.
5. Final tips
- Specialize: level 1–2 professions you’ll actually use before touching everything.
- Use the market: sell surplus mats/crafts that have demand.
- Don’t be afraid to switch star recipes when one stops being efficient.
